Leonard A. Epstein is a shareholder in the law firm of Newman, Davenport & Epstein, P.C., where he practices business and insurance litigation in state and federal courts in Texas.  Mr. Epstein was born in Dallas, Texas in 1958, and received his B.A. from Northwestern University in 1980 and his J.D. from the University of Texas in 1982.  He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.  He was admitted to the Texas bar in 1983, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas and U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, in 1984, and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Texas, in 1993.  Mr. Epstein was a briefing attorney for  the Honorable Floyd A. Shumpert, Texas Court of Appeals, Fifth Supreme Judicial District, from 1983-1984.  He practices primarily in the areas of Business and Commercial Litigation, Insurance and Bad Faith Litigation, and Landlord and Tenant/Real Estate Litigation.
